Real-world testing shows Envie can provide around 1–2 months of noticeable hydrophobic behavior and slickness per application, depending on weather, washing frequency, and how it is applied (dry panel vs. drying aid). Regular use after washes can layer and extend that protection.

For best results, wash the vehicle first and remove heavy contamination. You will get even better performance and durability if the paint has been clayed and, ideally, polished, but Envie will still add gloss and protection on previously uncorrected but clean paint.

You can do both. On a dry surface, Envie behaves more like a spray sealant: highest gloss, slickness, and durability. Used as a drying aid on wet paint, it speeds up drying and still leaves good hydrophobics, but durability is slightly lower than a dry-panel application.
